The meeting point is in the car park of the G. Sapienza Lodge – South Etna (altitude 1900 m.) where, after reporting for the trek and having your booking checked, we will board the Etna Cable Car to reach an altitude of 2500 m.; once there, we will continue ascending, on 4×4 buses, to an altitude of 2900 m. Here our trek will begin, eventually reaching the SUMMIT CRATERS, at an altitude of approximately 3300 m. After a stop alongside the Summit Craters (CENTRAL CRATER OR BOCCA NUOVA) we’ll begin our descent.
First stop at the Craters of 2002 (BARBAGALLO CRATERS), then we’ll head for the face of the VALLE DEL BOVE (BELVEDERE). We’ll then set off again until we reach an altitude of 2500 m. for the second time, to return by cable car to our departure point.
